Dr Pamela Pillay is an early career academic in the Department of Clinical Anatomy. She is the Academic Leader: Teaching and Learning in the School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Sciences, under the College of Health Science at UKZN. She serves as a council member of the Anatomical Society of Southern Africa and as a UKZN Biomedical Research Ethics Committee member.
Dr Pillay’s research focus is on ethical frameworks that will guide research involving human remains (ie. cadavers; skeletal remains and foetal material); anatomical variations and anatomy/medical education.
