BIOSKETCH
Dr Sharadh Garach is a locally qualified emergency physician, who is currently the Head of Clinical Department, Emergency Medicine, at Ngwelezane Tertiary Hospital. He has been leading the Division of Emergency Medicine at UKZN as acting HOD since 2016. He has numerous portfolios on provincial committees and task teams, and is currently an examiner, convener and moderator for national specialist EM exams within the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. He has a keen interest in prehospital emergency medicine, procedural sedation and ophiology.
