Biosketch
Dr Murugan is the haematopathologist in charge of the flow cytometry bench at the NHLS haematology laboratory in IALCH. She also contributes to the haematology clinical service at the KEH haematology clinic. She is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. She is currently the deputy elect for the SASH (South African Society of Haematology) committee and a DAC (Discipline Advisory Committee) member for the PathRed 2023 conference. She is a supervisor and co-supervisor to MMed and MMedSc students.
