Biosketch
Dr Hemasha Mothi is a haematopathologist currently practicing at the NHLS Department of Haematology in Durban. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Kwazulu-Natal in 2006, Dr Mothi pursued a medical degree (MBChB) at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, graduating in 2011. In 2017, Dr Mothi began postgraduate training as a registrar in haematology at the University of the Free State where she achieved a Master of Medicine (MMed) degree in Haematology, and qualified as a specialist haematopathologist in 2021. Her areas of interest include haematological malignancies and bleeding disorders.
