Dr Evashin Pillay is a junior pathologist currently based in the Department of Haematology at the UKZN Academic Hospital Complex. He trained as a registrar within the WITS Academic Hospital Complex from where he also obtained his undergraduate medical degree. His academic interests include the morphological spectrum of haematopathology, molecular diagnostic methods and laboratory quality assurance.
