Biosketch

Dr Dashini Pillay completed her registrar training in Johannesburg under the NHLS and Witwatersrand University. She has over ten years of experience as a pathologist and she oversees the coagulation bench at IALCH. She participated in a mentorship programme offered by the International Society of Laboratory Haematology (ISLH) where she developed her skills in quality assurance in coagulation and thrombophilia testing. Dashini is passionate about the teaching of registrars and medical students. “It is a rewarding experience to pay forward the skills that were taught to me and to share my experiences in laboratory medicine.”
